RAIVO

In RAIVO the leading character has become completely unhinged with insatiable bloodlust. Death and destruction is about to unfold when our furious protagonist will hit the streets. Gear up for a bloodbath - the ride starts now!

HOW TO PLAY

Your mission is to satisfy your sadistic thirst for blood by slaying unsuspecting victims with your vehicle. Do it fast so you can keep up the momentum to reach the ultimate satisfaction!

Beware, fuel is burning fast, so look out for the fuel bonuses and pick them so you don't run out of fuel before your goal is met.

Steer away from spike strips to avoid damaging your vehicle. If you take damage, pick the repair bonuses to fix your vehicle.

You may choose from 3 difficulty levels that all feature different vehicles. The difficulty grows fast, so be prepared!

CONTROLS

The game can be played with the keyboard or a gamepad. Use arrow keys to control the vehicle. See in-game menu for more info.

The game supports Xbox 360 controllers only. Consider using a controller emulator for non-supported gamepads.

DEVELOPMENT

RAIVO was originally developed and released in mid-2007. Some optimizations and a gamepad support were added in 2022.

The game took part in a Finnish game creation competition held by Suomipelit.com in the summer of 2007. The game placed 4th!

The game was created with a legacy game engine called CoolBasic. The engine was already outdated technology-wise when the development of the game began.

PERFORMANCE

The game was originally created for DirectX 7.0 (DirectDraw). Consider running the game in compatibility mode or using a third-party wrapper to enhance the game performance if needed.
