A downloadable game for Windows

You are a slime. They call you LIMA. You can think, therefore you can solve puzzles. The scientists have arranged test tracks for you to pass. This is the ultimate challenge to prove your intelligence as a slime.

HOW TO PLAY

In this platformer game you get to control the world's first thinking slime through challenging test tracks. Along the way, you'll encounter deadly chasms, sharp spikes and scorching lava.

Use your ability to jump and bounce from trampolines to avoid sharp objects and pitfalls. You can take some damage, but too much will force you to start the level from the beginning.

Your main objective is to find the goal gate in each level in order to pass the test and proceed to the next level. There are 10 levels in total, and only the best can get through them all.

CONTROLS

The game can be played with the keyboard or a gamepad. Use arrow keys to control the character. See in-game menu for more info.

The game supports Xbox 360 controllers only. Consider using a controller emulator for non-supported gamepads.

DEVELOPMENT

LIMA ("SLIMEBOUNCE") was originally developed and released in 2007. Some optimizations and a gamepad support were added in 2023, along with some previously unreleased graphical style adjustments from late 2008.

The game was released to a Finnish underground web community and game portal called Jonneweb.net in the early 2008.

The game was created with a legacy game engine called CoolBasic. The engine was already outdated technology-wise when the development of the game began.

PERFORMANCE

The game was originally created for DirectX 7.0 (DirectDraw). Consider running the game in compatibility mode or using a third-party wrapper to enhance the game performance if needed.
